Gothy gothy train skirt

 I've always wanted a gorgeous classic gothy train skirt, like this one:

They are quite expensive to buy but lucky for me, the pattern is easy. I found the free pattern here and made one with left over fabric I already had at home. I wanted to cover my legs a bit more than in the product photos, but still getting the train effect.The result:

Coolest modified military dress

A while ago, I found this gem online: Black-Ops Khaki Skater Dress. I managed to borrow one and found out that the fitting wasn't for me, despite being the correct size. It was way too short in length (showing half my butt) and the collar is too much for me. Wooho! This means - making my own. So I simply traced the pieces/pattern, made adjustments of my choice and voilá.

Viking fun!

Two years ago I decided to visit a Viking fair in Fotviken/Höllviken. I made an under dress (särk), apron and jewellery for this event. The result: 

Gothic mini crown

The ones I printed a while ago weren't that funny and I wanted something even prettier. I found this on Thingiverse, so I downloaded, modified and tested printing it on a smaller scale. Looks really nice. Tried printing it a bit larger but that didn't work out. Anyway, here is the smaller version and it's still wonderful. I might wear it on New Year's eve :) 

 

Art deco beauties for living room

One corner of the living room looked quite dull. No more with these art deco beauties in black, matching the lace curtains <3 

 

No more ugly and plain fabric box :D

I like deco from Thailand, China, India and Tibet. I couldn't find so much ready made decos, but this one is really neat. Decided to print it to make my fabric box way nicer looking :) It took 4 hours to print it, phew.

Gothic princess crowns in the making!

More headpieces. I wanted to make a cute little gothic princess crown. I found one crown on Thingiverse, so I modified and printed it. Looked ok as a base, but still wanted a slightly different look. Here it is, anyway: 

I know. It looks hilariously ugly in intense red xD Luckily, it will get better ;) 

I continued searching for something else to use as a base. I found another crown on Printables, which will serve well. I continued modeling the second crown in Blender and then printing it. Here it is - fresh from the printer (not so fun to remove all "thready plastic debris" that looks like spider web, though :D)

Now the fun part remains (after the cleanup) - paint and deco! I will of course paint both of them and see which one will end up best. Perhaps both turn out amazing in their own ways? ;) Stay tuned for updates :) 

Retro kitchen deco

I wanted to make some vintage deco for the kitchen. Came up with this art deco piece. Took four hours to print :D I might make another one in black for my slight darker living room :)
